When things outside have been hot and dry for too long, you start looking up. Some look up in prayer, while others look up for clouds that might carry the precious water to relieve the ground of its constant thirst. Recently we have heard about much of the country having heavy rains and flooding, yet we are headed for another drought if things don’t turn around sometime soon. A few years ago, Texas suffered a huge drought that killed many trees across the state. Those trees weak from the previous drought will certainly die if we have another one so soon. While spotty showers do occur, there hasn’t been enough to turn the cycle around and put us back on the path of regular rainfall. These clouds seem to give rays of hope that rain might be on the way. Maybe.
