A friend and I were on our way to a car show in Baytown, thinking they would make good subjects for some HDR photos. He had offered to drive, so we threw our gear in the back and headed out. Almost to Baytown on State Highway 146, we crossed over the Houston Ship Channel on the Fred Hartman Bridge. Once again my camera wasn’t in reach, but the iPhone was. Not having a clue if anything would turn out, I just started shooting a series of photos as fast as the little iPhone could shoot. Once home, I was pleasantly surprised how good they came out!

An interesting note, the Fred Hartman Bridge or “Baytown Bridge is 2.6 miles long and is one of only three such bridges in the state of Texas. It replaced the old Baytown Tunnel when they deepened the channel in the late ’90s.
