Everyone who goes to “The Strip” in Las Vegas plays the role of a tourist. It just can’t be helped. You take your pocket camera or camera phone and snap away, since there is just so much to see. There are pyramids, tall towers, dancing fountains, Roman architecture and much more to experience.
It’s amazing how they can create a facade like this New York City skyline, complete with the Statue of Liberty, and have it look so real. This scene was taken back in 2008 with a Fujifilm (digital) pocket camera, before I kick-started my current photography habit. Now-a-days, that camera is so “old tech” my kids don’t even want to use it. But I keep it around so I can show the grandkids one day. Then I’ll be cool for having an antique.
