At a recent visit to the Ruby M. Mize Azalea Garden in Nacogdoches, I was disappointed that the azaleas were not yet in bloom. There was very little color in the garden to see, at least until we walked further in. There we found other flowers that were starting to bloom, including these large white camellias, called “White by the Gate”. This large bush (or tree) had many that made for a stunning sight. All I had to do was wait for the wind to calm down for a flower to stay in focus. The Ruby M. Mize Azalea Garden is a great place to walk and enjoy a constant supply of greenery and beautiful flowers.
