True confession time. I thought I had lost my memory card with our full first day of vacation photos from Washington D.C. and I wasn’t a happy camper. Sparing you the details, I had placed the card in a zipper pocket of my new camera strap, so that I wouldn’t reuse it. Upon returning home, I had several other cards that were full of photos and I didn’t notice it was missing until recently. Well, the card was found and I have recovered over three hundred new photos to pour over. This is one of them.

The rain had left and the sky was clearing as we finished touring the Air and Space Museum. We walked over to the Capitol and everything had just closed, so there were few people and cars. This made a great chance to take some outside shots before continuing on. We came back later the second day to tour the inside. I know where those photos are too.
