Ask anyone that is a member of the Greatest Generation and they will tell you that things were different back then. Life was simpler, but not easier. There were no iPhones, no microwaves and very few televisions. It was an era when people pulled together for the greater good of the country. They sacrificed, worked hard and fought bravely. They set the standard for what it meant to be an American.
