Sunsets come in several stages. First you have the big orange ball above the horizon. Then you have the actual moment the sun kisses the edge and starts to disappear. Next you get this false sense of completion, thinking the light show is over. But stick around for a few more moments and you will be treated to the evening glow. A time of change from a dark rusty orange to a deep purple as the night starts to overpower and turns the sky to black.

A sunset is like a fine meal or beverage. It should be enjoyed slowly and each moment savored for it’s individual uniqueness. You might think of the evening glow as dessert.
