Summer is upon us and sunsets season is almost gone. As things warm up, the upper clouds that provide such nice colors at sunset are missing. I’m not a weather buff, so I don’t recall the type of clouds, but the low hanging puffy ones of summer fade away in the late afternoon. This blank canvas provides nothing to catch the setting sun, leaving no color.

This is the last of three images from one sunset taken earlier this year. I can’t wait for the fall, when the higher, cooler weather clouds return.
