Everyone seems to like fountains. Maybe it deals with our basic instinct of needing water. Whatever it is, the sight and sound of water flowing and falling attracts us all.

The Smith Fountain in downtown Houston is a large and pretty fountain. It’s a decent size, so don’t stand downwind on a windy day or you might get wet. My camera lens had mist on the protective filter when I finished and left me with a few water spots I didn’t notice until later. And yes, that little white thing in the sky is the moon. (I knew you would ask).
