Aviation is one of those subject that perks my ears. They don’t actually perk, mind you, but it gets my attention. Though I rarely get an opportunity, I love to fly. Lately, that only seems to happen when I travel to a conference every few years.

Visiting the Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. is like a sports fan going to the Baseball Hall of Fame, but better. These are the machines that propelled our country through the last century and made our world a smaller place. Some are the exact planes that made the history we read as children, while others a representative of an era now gone by. You can’t help but be in awe as you walk among these heros of our past.
