It never hurts to start out the month off with a pretty sunset. This was one of those evenings on September 1, when I ran out out of the house, since the sky was looking pretty again. I shot for almost an hour and the prettiest part of this sunset was after the sun went down below the horizon.

I shot over 50 sets of HDR images as the sun was setting on this evening. They’re all interesting, but this image was the one that jumped out of the entire set. I’ll probably never use the other images, since they just can’t compete with this one. The problem is whether to delete the left-overs. The correct answer is yes, because I won’t use them and they are just taking up hard drive space. But there’s this thing about deleting an overall nice photo. The others are nice, just not as good as this one.
