Many small towns will have a structure or two that set them apart from other small towns. In Katy, TX, the rice silos and mill are hard to miss. I don’t know if they still do any rice growing there, since the little town has been swallowed by the growth of its neighbor, Houston. But the silos still stand as a reminder of its history.
