Shortly after sunset is one of the best times to shoot a downtown skyline. The buildings light up, there is still enough light that the building exteriors don’t go dark and the sky isn’t totally black.

On this evening, the moon made it’s first appearance straight overhead, which reflects in the building on the left. I like being downtown as the transition from day to night takes place. Lights turning on as the sky darkens brings to the scene a feeling you can’t get any other time of day.
