Las Vegas is eye candy for a photographer that enjoys lights and cityscapes. There are so many things to shoot at anytime of the day or night. The only downside is that it is like shooting the Eiffel Tower or the pyramids in Egypt. It has be photographed so many times, ti’s hard to come up with something new or unique.

The last time I was there was four years ago, and my passion for photography hadn’t yet rekindled, so I was armed with only a point-and-shoot camera. Even so, you give it the old college try and shoot off a few photos to remember the trip. This large statue is on the street corner, just outside the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. It’s a typical tourist shot, but hey, It was only a point-and-shoot.
