The Mecom Fountain is a Houston landmark. For travelers between the Medical Center and downtown, this is a common sight. Though the fountain lights do not change color, the area Christmas lights still help make the atmosphere bright and festive. This scene is peeking through the trees of the Hotel ZaZa. The area is heavily traveled and the colored lines are the cars going by. It took a bit of timing not to get only the bright headlights of the cars passing. The reds and yellows of the taillights work much nicer for that touch of color.
