My oldest daughter and I enjoy kayaking together when we get a chance. It’s a time for us to talk and reconnect. As she has gotten older, I don’t seem to have to paddle as hard as I use to, as she is starting to pull her weight, so to speak. We don’t go as often as we would like, as schedules and other responsibilities seem to get in the way. That makes the times we do go, all the more special.
