The weekend my family visited New Orleans last fall, the weather was cold and dreary. It turned sunny the morning we left, but the one day we had to sight-see wasn’t the best. We had left Jackson Square and were walking along “the river” (the Mississippi of course) when we saw this sax player. For a few dollars, he would play your favorite tune and pose for a picture, or gladly except a donation in the bucket from any passerby. I caught him between customers just sitting by himself, doing what he seemed to enjoy most.
