Most cities have a iconic location that everyone visits when visiting there. For New Orleans, it has to be Jackson Square, a historic park in the French Quarter of New Orleans, LouisianaWith the St. Louis Cathedral at one end and Cafe Du Monde and Washington Artillery Park at the other, you can not help but stop and appreciate the view. I’ve never made it inside the cathedral when it was open or at least when I had time to investigate it, but hope to go back and see the inside.

Here, the city lights reflect off the low clouds, giving it a surreal atmosphere in the early hours before dawn. During the day, the street is lined with horse drawn carriages, lots of cars and people milling about everywhere.  You can also find local artists showing their creations along the sidewalks too.
