The job of a first responder is tough enough, but if you are a member of SWAT, then you know each assignment is going to be even harder than most. Special jobs require special equipment. Firefighters have big fire trucks with big hoses. SWAT has a big armored truck with big weapons. Firefighters have special suits to protect them. SWAT has special gear to protect them to. Both are there to help and serve.
This armored SWAT vehicle belongs to the Baytown Police Department. They were a nice group of guys and I’m glad I had a chance to meet them when it wasn’t a “normal” work day.
