One of the cosmopolitan attractions of a large city is it’s stores and shopping malls. I’m not a big shopper, but I knew when the Houston Galleria opened in 1970, it was something special. It has continued to grow several times since then, with four distinct shopping areas. With over 375 stores, the Galleria is the largest mall in Texas and seventh-largest in the United States.

My problem is once I enter the Apple store, I never see the other 374 stores.

  1. Almost perfectly centered. Tripod? How long did it take you to get it centered that well? Oh, and it is a beautiful photo. I keep reminding myself to take the camera in our local mall and then never do it.

  2. Thanks guys. It was 3 hand-held shots, braced on the railing and cropped in the camera. I had to mask in the people to avoid ghosting though. I was in “stealth” mode, as mall security doesn’t allow anything even looking like professional photography. I try not to process too much with HDR, as I prefer a bit more natural look, though I do give in to the “dark side” once in a while 🙂
