It’s been a long day at work, and I’m leaving later than usual. Since it’s late, I left my camera at the office, because it will be dark by the time I get home and I’m tired. Just about the time I turn off the main highway, the sky bursts alive with color, but my DSLR is back at the office. Have no fear, trusty iPhone camera is here. Okay, it’s not the highest quality camera around, but I’m constantly surprised at what you can get.

The tricky part here is driving while trying to take a photo on the iPhone. It’s really a two-handed operation that I’m getting better at. I did have to straighten the horizon and reduce the noise a bit, but most everything else is as I saw it.

Note to self: The iPhone is great in a pinch, but always take a DSLR home with you.
