There is something unique about taking pictures in an incredibly beautiful setting when you are by yourself. First you feel very fortunate to be in such a setting with your camera at just the right moment. But if you dwell a little longer and look closer at where you are, you start to appreciate the true wonder and beauty of it all. Just being there is special.

And if you dare linger longer (and not get upset about the photo you probably just missed), your mind starts to go places, considers options or “what ifs”, or just simply starts to dream. Not daydreams, but the kind that might inspire or motivate a life change. When I look upon a natural wonder like that, I can’t help but think of my Creator and give a prayer of thanks.  Thanks for the moment and those to come.
