There are some things that scientists just can’t explain. Things that just “are”. Anyone who has ever worked on a show car or street racer can tell you chrome makes things go faster. Though no one can really prove why, it just “is”. Maybe it creates a micro-molecular vortex in the  time-space continuum, but no one knows for sure. Whatever the reason, any car enthusiast worth their salt will defend this automotive phenomenon.
