This weekend I had an hour to kill at the mall waiting on my daughter and her friends. I figured I would walk around for a bit, then hit the food court for something sweet. Leaving the house, I grabbed my camera, thinking I might as well make it a photo walk. After parting ways at the mall, I found myself trying to find a subject not too commercialized. It was harder than I expected. Just above Santa’s booth however, I saw several large stars that caught my eye. I walked around for a bit more and before I knew it, my time was up.

I never did get that sweet treat at the food court. That’s the sacrifice you make for art, I suppose.
