While the night scenes of a city are unique with lights and shadows, the daylight leaves nothing to the imagination. Compare this view with the nighttime version and while they are similar, they are very much different.
This is another view from the Sheraton hotel in downton New Orleans, looking down Canal Street, but from a few floors up. From here, you can see the barges cruising up and down the Mississippi. The wind was very breezy that morning, which helped kept any morning haze away.
