Buckingham Palace is the official London residence and main workplace of the British monarch. From the street it appears as a large mansion of sorts. But if you ever see an arial view, you quickly discover that it has a large courtyard, with an even larger rear building section.
The east front is famous for Royal Family appearances on the balcony just above the center entrance. In front is the Victoria Memorial with side fountains at the base.
