They say the eyes are the window to the soul. While that may be true for people, I don’t think that holds true for animals. Nevertheless, this little monkey has eyes that seem to draw you in. The eyes are always the focal point of any good portrait and this monkey offered a great opportunity to take advantage of the late afternoon light on a cloudy day for a nice image. Heavy wire cages around captive animals can make it very difficult to obtain a naturally looking setting. But if you position your lens just right, sometimes you get lucky.
