This yellow T-bucket is a great representation of a typical hotrod you might see at a car show. A small, lightweight body, with an oversized engine that just makes your mouth water. It’s made for cruising as much as speed. It’s hard to get all those admiring looks, if you’re flying down the road too fast for people to see.
Car shows are fun, but at many outside shows, taking photos can be a bit of a challenge. First, the owners plunk their lawn chairs down right behind their cars, which makes it very hard to get a nice, clean shot of their car their trying to get everyone to remember. And second, people are drawn to wherever you walk. The moment you set up your tripod, there is a silent announcement everyone hears telling them to walk over and stand right beside the car you’re trying to shoot. You are entirely invisible to them though, since they stand right in your way and act like you’re not there.
