Office furniture may not be on the top of everyone’s list, but the right furniture can make your day at the office more bearable. With computers, digital phone systems, copiers and other hi-tech devices, it’s hard to imagine using a typewriter with carbon paper or an adding machine to do the books.

This office is reminiscent of an old office in the 1950s; a simple chair, rolodex, adding machine and a desk fan were basic essentials. The fan was needed because air condition wasn’t around then either.

The building plans are those of the 1940 Air Terminal Museum. This was taken on the day I arrived an hour early, before they officially opened. It was nice to have the space to shoot before the crowd entered.
