I don’t play golf. It’s not that I don’t like it, I’ve just never been invited to play a round of real golf. But for many that do, the country club is their choice to play. They offer other features like tennis courts, restaurants and swimming pools for its members. Rumor has it they even offer adult beverages.

A long standing club in the area had its clubhouse burn down a decade ago. This gave them the opportunity to rebuild an even larger clubhouse. With the flavor of a southern plantation, it has all the amenities you would expect. 

If I ever get to play golf there, I’d probably do okay on their course. The last time I played golf, the little windmill kept knocking my ball away from the hole.
