The Library of Congress is one of the first places you should go when in Washington. From the outside, it’s a grand building, just what you would expect to see among other stately buildings and monuments. Once inside though, you would think you were somewhere in Europe, with the ceiling ornaments and arches.
Some of the attractions inside include one of four remaining perfect vellum copies of the Gutenberg Bible and Thomas Jefferson’s personal collection of 6,478 books.
