Driving through the countryside of any strange place is exciting, since everything is seen through a new and fresh view. You strive to take everything in, but the signs, buildings and other interests flash by as your car, train or tour bus zooms past.
Traveling through France, each small town would have an old church and though many were similar in design, they were each unique. This old church had the cemetery alongside, behind the old stone walls. It seems like most of France was made of stone, which is probably why much of it has lasted for centuries. I’m sorry to say that I don’t recall the town or church name. The signs just kept zooming by too fast.
