The Louvre Palace in Paris is well known for many things, such as how large it is, the quality of the art inside and the large, glass pyramid outside. The Louvre Pyramid is made of glass and metal, that breaks down to a total of 673 glass panes. It is surrounded by three smaller pyramids and several fountains in the main courtyard.
Our schedule the day we visited was very busy and we didn’t stay long outside. Since I didn’t have much time to get creative, I had to shoot fast. Our trip felt more like a photo run than a high-speed photo walk. I typically try to shoot with as few people as possible in these kinds of scenes, but in this photo, they help give perspective on how large the pyramid really is.
