No two trips to the zoo are ever the same. Maybe that’s why families continue to go back year after year. Recently, I went with certain expectations and of course, nothing worked out as I had hoped. But like many photo trips, other opportunities arose. I never gave much notice to these Giant Elands before, but for some reason, they caught my attention this time.
Not only are these guys really big, but their horns are even larger and with a twist. They are the world’s largest antelope, weighing up to 1300 pounds and their body temperature adjusts to closer match the outside temperature.
