Tucked off to the side in the National Naval Aviation Museum is the Emil Buehler Library. This is the type of room that most men would like to park their desk in and make it their office. With beautiful paintings on the walls, models from the ceiling and other great aviation related items, it says come in and stay awhile.

The library’s holdings primarily focus on the development of U.S. Naval Aviation from 1911–present, though there are manuscript collections that cover non-aviation related naval activities. It is a non-circulating institution, meaning visitors may conduct on-site research only. It’s just another great example of the extensive collection that this museum contains.
