The county courthouse is not a place where most people want to go. Whatever their reason, it usually involves fun things like long lines, lawyer fees, administrative charges and a host of other things to make them wish they were somewhere else. But I don’t mind going, as long as it’s night and everything is closed. It’s much quieter down there when everyone is gone too. But if you venture a few blocks over toward the county lockup, it’s not so quite. I try stay away from that area.
These two buildings are part of the Harris County Court system in Houston, Texas. We were up on a parking garage and the reflections on the side of the tower caught my eye.
