Unfortunately, we all know of someone who has battled cancer. Some have won and some have lost. Though more people are winning each year, it’s a battle no one wishes to fight. The Cancer Survivor Plaza by Hermann Park in Houston has a sculpture depicting people walking through the “maze” of cancer treatments on the way to survival.

My guess is that comparing the disease to a maze may be a bit weak if you were to ask those that have gone through treatments, but the meaning it there. This sculpture can also be found in many other cities across the US where other Cancer Survivor Plazas are located.
