This is a scene I don’t see too often. No cars in the parking lot. I had to get to my church early and kept hoping that I could get a shot before the cars started piling in. You see Sugar Creek Baptist Church is a large church in the suburbs with a lot going on each day. With a bookstore, café, children’s play area, school and more, there is always something going on.

Some folks don’t feel comfortable in a large church. And that’s okay, but it’s the relationships you make in the smaller groups and the ministry help you do, tie you with everyone else and make it feel much smaller. I must like it, I’ve been there for too many years to count.
