This is one of the first HDR images I ever processed. It was shot back in the spring of 2011, just after my very first photo walk. It’s the ceiling light fixture in the Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. It was just above where I took this other shot of the check-in desk. It’s a wonderful historic hotel in downtown Austin. You would be lucky to stay there if you ever have the chance. 

Photo walks are a great way to get out and look for images, things that would normally pass you by, but deserve a closer, longer look.
