It is very easy to go about our day missing most of the smaller items around us. Sure, we see the big things, but there is an entire other world that is overlooked. Some of the most unusual and sometimes beautiful things require a very close look to appreciate. 

Macro-photography is an area that I have yet to venture into, but one that I hope to attempt someday soon. This bee was found roaming about these small flowers. A normal camera lens can still focus close enough to allow you to focus on smaller details without the expense of a dedicated macro lens.
