Just after sunset is one of the nicest times to shoot cityscapes, or any photo for that matter. The colors are deeper and the sky is rich and dreamy. Add in the lights of the buildings that are just turning on and you have a winning combination.
This is Houston City Hall peeking through the trees that line the square in front. The building is sometimes lit with different colors at various times of the year for promotions or events.
