The Rouen Cathedral is a great example of one building representing various styles of architecture. Its multiple gothic styles and Renaissance style is easily apparent to anyone that visits. Considering it took over 600 years to build, it’s not surprising.
Large cathedrals like this are difficult to shoot, especially since many have newer buildings built very close and you simply can’t move back far enough to see the entire structure. If it wasn’t for the wide-angle lens I carried, my field of view would have been much smaller.
