If you enjoy taking a lot of photos while on vacation like me, then you end up with a lot of “good” photos. Sure, you might have a group of really good ones, but you discover that it’s the “good” photos that wind up telling a lot of the story about your trip. They remind you of the atmosphere, the culture and the geography of your visits.
Unlike Dover Castle, which is high on a hilltop by itself, Windsor Castle, though still on a hill, is surrounded by urban sprawl and businesses. This is an example of an environmental photo that helps me remember the feel of the trip and everything else besides the “postcard” attractions.
