When traveling to Washington D.C., you wouldn’t think of running through the Smithsonian museums in only an hour or two. You could spend a few days and still not see all the highlights they offer, not to mention really look close at everything.

The same thing applies to the Louvre in Paris, the most visited and one of the largest museums in the world. While in Paris, we stopped there after seeing La Sainte-Chapelle. After clearing security to enter, we only had an hour. AN HOUR! In that time, we barely made it through the building to see Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, then return to meet our group. We didn’t plan it that way, but sometimes things just go awry.

I literally had to shoot as I walked (jogged sometimes) down the halls and hoped I had something to show for it. With no time to read plaques, or take notes, this was one statue in the hallway I shot on the run. Let me know if you recognize the statue and its artist.
