Throughout our day, we encounter shapes and designs that mostly go unnoticed. Then there are those that reach out and slap us in the face. I went up some stairs at the George Memorial Library in Richmond, TX and encountered the roof design and reflections in the glass. I hadn’t planned on taking any photos, but since I had my iPhone, I couldn’t resist sneaking a quick shot.

I took photos for a local newspaper in 1986 when it first opened, but have not been back to really photograph it. I think I have a new assignment.
