There is something magical about the fermenting process that changes a few simple ingredients into beer, wine or other spirits. There is also something cool about seeing a large storage celler of bottles or large kegs. The thing I like about wooden kegs, or barrels, is the wood of course. The grain, the color and the fact you have a round object made out of wood seems unique.

This display of small pint size and larger barrels is made by Deep South Barrels. Notice the partial shot glass to the right of the barrel and you get perspective on how small it is. Heck, it might be enough to drive me to drink, just to show off one of these little guys.
