The lowly armadillo is mostly considered a pest, especially if you discover they’ve been digging up your yard or flowerbed. They have terrible eyesight and will walk right by you if you hold still.

There are many species to be found, but one type is very easy to identify. It’s the Texas Armadillo. It will be the one flat on it’s back, guzzling a bottle of Lone Star. If it’s drinking anything else, it’s a Texas-want-to-be.
