I was returning to my hotel from the SXSW Photo Walk in Austin, TX. Not that I drink, but 6th Street is where the night life is if you want interesting photos in Austin. I saw a blue light coming from a bar and peeked in. The people were in these small rooms to the left, while the main section was empty. I decided to ask the doorman if I could set up my tripod just inside the entrance and take quick shot. “Sure, come on in.” I almost passed it by, but it goes to show you never know if you don’t try, or at least ask.
