Yesterday I attended the “Wings and Wheels” day at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum by Hobby Airport in Houston. Once a month, local pilots fly in their airplanes and a car club will show off their treasures. The museum is housed in Houston’s original art-deco air terminal at William P. Hobby Airport. and showcases both civil aviation and Houston’s aviation history.

The weather grew very overcast with strong winds all day, but it was fun talking photography and airplanes with the volunteers and watching the large commercial jets come and go all day.
